Multi-role fighter  A / FX ( AX) .

Multi-role aircraft capable by 2000 to supplement and then replace A-6 attack aircraft, tactical bomber F-111 and F-117 and F-15E in the U.S. do after the closing theme A-12 in 1991. The project companies Lockheed / Boeing / Pratt & Whitney planned to fully use all the successes they have achieved in the development of ATF .
